3.6 yrs: Night kitchen, pancakes, and tennis

My new favorite book is Night Kitchen by Maurice Sendak. I know almost all of the words. Stir it, scrape it, mix it, bake it! Milk in the batter, milk in the batter! I'm not the milk, I'm Mickey! Anyway, this also means that I looove to make pancakes to eat (late at night, right before bedtime). I tell Amma what I want to mix together - like flour, then an egg, then milk, then cinnamon, and sometimes blueberries. Then we make it and flip it! I usually don't finish the whole thing.

I am getting better at tennis - serving and hitting. At home I also like to bounce on the bouncy ball that Suzy and the girls gave me for Christmas.

This month I took a few trips into the mountains with Amma and Thambi. One time Amma ended up carrying us both (which was I guess a little heavy). So the next time we brought a sled for me, but it was pretty windy so again we didn't make it too far. On the way back we stopped in Ned to go on the carousel and to visit my favorite - the train coffee shop!

Thambi keeps getting more fun to play with. We hang out together at the grocery store in the little car.

As a family, we made a few trips to our favorite standby: the museum of nature and science. I like to stomp on the fish near the bear exhibit. And we saw a 3D IMAX movie about the Journey to Space (as in Mars!).

Thank you God for space travel, pancakes, and sleds.
